About the Company
LA TRIBU PERFORMANCE is the first experimental circus company in Panama that has managed to position itself as the New Generation of Entertainment in this country, in addition to being a cultural platform dedicated to the development, research and training in contemporary circus.
La Tribu Performance was founded in 2002 by the juggler Edwin Borden and the aerialist Eleonora Dall’Asta (graduated from the National Center For Circus Arts of England); today it is formed by a team of various professionals committed in thought and action to the artistic development of the cultural and business scene of Panama. Throughout the years we have pleased a countless number of clients of diverse natures giving life to artistic creations that are characterized by incorporating different techniques of Performing Arts such as acrobatics, dance, theater, music and circus techniques. We are motivated by the mission to promote, diffuse and merge the arts from the perspective of contemporary circus, captivating our audiences not only through entertainment, but also transmitting messages that emerge from the exploration of various disciplines and that involve imaginative possibilities capable of creating meaning, expression and consciousness.
About the Piece
A contemporary circus performance that involves disciplines such as juggling and the Roue Cyr, and in which the concept of circularity is treated as an unlimited space in which the performers relate to each other through their bodies or their objects, bringing to life a place both intimate and inexhaustible. “In the infinite geometric form, the bodies of three men run and walk, hush and scream, live and die on an endless path.”
