After training at night school of Fine Arts of Rouen, Claude Brumachon discovered dance. In 1980, he began his research with Benjamin Lamarche became its privileged interpreter and accomplice in all her creations. Claude Brumachon company was officially founded in 1984,In four years, the choreographer createdten pieces, including in 1988: Texane (winnerin the contest of Bagnolet) and Pedestal Virgin imposed his style on a recognizable gesture. Claude Brumachon and Benjamin LaMarche created from the body, for the body and the body.
